What Makes Us Different?

When evaluating home-based income opportunities, you need to know what questions to ask. Here are a list of 12 success factors that will help you evaluate an opportunity:

1. Proven Track Record - Less than 1 in 1,000 direct sales companies survive beyond the 5th year. Make sure the company is 5+ years old. Ground floor is not where you want to be.
2. Financially Sound - Look for a company with no long-term debt. Our company has a 4A1 financial rating with Dun & Bradstreet and is 100% debt free. We don't even have a mortgage on our distribution centers. We own everything free and clear - and we are privately held. Now that's stability!
3. Strong Management Team - Many home-based opportunities are run by MLM-types, or people who have built a business from home and then decided they want to start a new one. Look for management with a corporate/big business background
4. Unique, Consumable Products by All - Look for products that people use everyday already. Not something that has "sizzle" that you have to convince people they want. Ideally, look for something that is used on a regular basis, used up and would need to be re-purchased over and over again.
5. Reasonably Priced Products - Here is where a lot of companies fail. Their products are good, but very high-end, so the average consumer cannot afford them. After a few months the novelty wears off and the customer leaves. Many MLM companies price their products above the market to allow larger commissions to be paid, but in the end everyone loses.
6. High Re-Order Rate - Did you know the MLM industry standard is just 20% monthly re-order rate? That's because a lot of customers join for the "sizzle" but then get disenchanted with the reality. Our compony has a documented 95% monthly re-order rate. This is the highest in the home-based business industry.
7. Low Entry Fee - What does it cost to get started? One well-known cosmetics direct sales company requires an investment of over $2,000 for product inventory. Another tele-communications MLM company encourages it's members to purchased 3 - 5 "business centers" at $500 each. This excludes the average peron who wants to start a home business.
8. Low Monthy Requirments - All home-based income opportunities will require some monthly committment to earn a commission. One juice MLM company we know of asks it's business builders to purchase a case of juice per month to stay qualified. With 6 bottles to a case at $40 each, that's $240 per month!
9. No Breakaways or Binaries - If you have limited or no experience in the direct sales arena, this may sound foreign to you, but all MLM companies have the same flaw. You build a team, but as that team grows, you end up losing income because the company either "breaks" a leg away when it becomes a certain size or limits your payment unless you have a "matching leg" - all games to make sure you keep working. It's virtually impossible to build a true residual income this way.
10. Low Attrition - Most home-based opportunities become a revolving door - people come in, people leave and you're left chasing your tail. Look for a company with low attrition. You want to build something to last a lifetime. Something that you can will to your kids. Not something where you work hard but then have to watch it all fall apart like a house of cards.
11. No Risk - Make sure the company has an excellent refund policy on everything. Business materials and products alike. Read the fine print. Some companies have just a 10 day return policy! Look for 60-days or more.
12. Timing - Ground floor sounds exciting, doesn't it? Or when you hear the words "momentum"? That doesn't make for good timing though. Good timing is a result of good market positioning, good reputation in the industry and customer acceptance. Ask the person who invited you to this website to view our company's growth chart. We have been in business for 25 years, but our best growth years were the last 5. You won't find any better timing than that!
